At Roxbury Animal Clinic we provide comprehensive preventative and diagnostic care for dogs & cats. This includes annual wellness examinations and vaccinations, tailored to the individual pet’s lifestyle and exposure risks. We provide recommendations for routine heartworm testing, heartworm prevention, flea & tick prevention, and when to start screening senior pets for disease.

On-site we have in-house laboratory machines to perform CBC, blood chemistry analysis and urinalysis, as well as a variety of screening tests. We work daily with multiple reference laboratories and most results are available within 24-48 hours.

We perform routine surgical procedures daily such as spay & neuter, lump removals, wound repairs, bladder surgeries, and dental cleanings. We also frequently perform emergency surgeries such as foreign body removals from the intestinal tract, spleen removals, cesarian section, and more.

We are lucky to have an extensive local network of specialists and specialty hospitals available to us. For pets requiring consultation with a specialist, there is always someone at the other end of the phone and available for referral at a nearby specialty hospital.

We pride ourselves in caring for each and every patient as if they were our own pets and are notorious for getting down on the floor with our patients to cuddle and love on them!
